Are You A Skeptic?

One of the first questions you're usually asked, when seeing a psychic/medium, is if you are a skeptic. I believe that there are people that have an extraordinary gift, that see more than I can see, that feel more. I believe that psychics and mediums are real. I also believe that there are people out there that may not have the talent or the gift and try to pass themselves off as something they are not.
After my reading was pushed back almost 24 hours, I started to get nervous. Every one of the girls who had come over the night before, for our group reading, said he was bang on. Would he talk about health issues for me or the boys?? Would be talk about marriage or the void of a marriage?? Would he pick up on insecurities of mine?? I didn't really have many, if any, really pressing questions for him.
So he comes breezing in at just after 9pm. A hug and a glass of water and BAM! We're right into it. Before he even brings out his deck of cards, he assures me that my friend who is sick will be ok - WILD! I had *just* gotten off the phone with a friend who just finished her last round of chemo and we're planning on doing a little "I kicked cancer's butt" photoshoot. Then he talks about my hubby and his job opportunities and that if he'd be more open to change and a little more flexible, that those opportunities could be amazing. He touched on some very VERY personal things my hubby went through in his past, stuff that hubster doesn't even talk to me about. "Ryan, Ryan. Do you know a Ryan?" Umm... yeah. It's my mother's maiden name. That's when it became really real.
He barely looked at me. He flipped his cards totally nonchalantly, almost like he was fidgeting with them instead of reading them. His eyes moved as if he were reading the most fascinating of stories, right above my head. Was it real? I think so. He seemed genuine, he brought stuff up that there was no way for him to know, things removed from my direct day-to-day life. Would I see him again - no.doubt.about.it! I'd like to plan my next reading NOW! (Dwayne, if you're reading this: THANK YOU, thank you, thank you! You rock!)
