There is something so visually appealing about a good stirfry. I love picking the most colourful veggies in my fridge. And the best part about a stirfry, ok the TWO best parts about making a stirfry is that they are so easy AND my 4 year old gobbles it up, no questions asked. Yes, he likes to throw a little plum sauce on his, me I prefer a little dash of teriyaki sauce - but how awesome is it to get your kid to eat a giant plate of mostly veggies?!
Tonight's stirfry included: chicken, carrots, broccoli, red and orange bell peppers, purple cabbage, and snap peas. YUMMO! And I even tried cauli-rice tonight. Trent and I gave it a thumbs up, but I'm about 90% sure the hubster would much prefer the usual rice or noodles.
What is in your go-to stirfry? What do you serve with it? Does a heavily veggie dish, like stirfry, go over well with everyone in your house?
**Want to try Cauli-Rice?
Grate up cauliflower and stirfry in a bit of coconut oil (or EVOO) until some of the pieces are just starting to brown. I sprinkled a little onion powder onto mine as well and it was SOOOOO good!
