All or Nothing

What is it that Jo always says? Lose the all or nothing attitude. I have come to realize that my healthy journey isn't really about how many pounds I've lost or how many days I've worked out. It's not even truly about what I'm putting in my mouth or how my clothes are fitting. It's about how I deal with set backs. Ok, so I was sick for a week - how do I move on from that and get back to the gym? Or my hubby is home, so he runs to McPukey's for lunch and a big mac would be so fricken tasty - can I make other choices for the rest of the day so I can eat the crap once in awhile? We all have triggers. We all have things or situations or family members that can set us off at any one time.
So you ate crappy last week, promise yourself that you'll do better this week. Ok, you haven't been to the gym or hit your treadmill in a bit, do it tonight or tomorrow. Alright, you're tired, so do 10 minutes and if you're still tired then call it a day, but maybe you'll surprise yourself and feel up to doing 10 more minutes. You don't want to do it alone? All it takes is to ask. (ps. I love having accountability buddies)
