Low Carb First Day
Went well. In total 27% of my intake was carbs - but those carbs were mainly from veggies. I was craving snacky sweet last night (as my wonderful hubby was noshing on nachos beside me) so I had a banana with almond butter - the banana alone bumped my carbs up 7%; it's one of the highest carb fruits there are. But I'm aiming to be under 30% for the next little while and I accomplished that - so YAY! I have a Mom's Night Out tonight with the fabulous Momstown ladies... so this might be tricky; being on day two of low carbness and out with delicious yummies all around. At least a couple of the Get Fit girls will be there and maybe they'll help me steer clear! I soooo need this time away from the house and my family... I feel completely guilty for saying that, but it's true. So hopefully after another day low carb, and good eating, and a night to recharge my batteries with the girls will be just what the doctor ordered!
